Joe and I have the day off today, so we all went to Pizza Ranch to eat lunch. I don't know if its the weather (not that its amounting to much) or what, but we were like the only ones there at 11 (when they open). So anyways...they had a pizza out, called Sweet Chilli Pizza, it has green pepper, pineapple, and sweet chilli sauce drizzled on top. I had to try a slice (which ended up being three slices.) I'm not really a big pizza eater (hey, when that's literally ALL you have one summer, you grow tired of it), but will eat unusual pizzas, and this is not really something you would expect from a pizza...but Oh My Goodness, it was soo good...If I had an appetite like Joe's I probably would have eaten the whole pizza myself, that's how good it was.
HyVee has recently put together a BBQ Pulled pork pizza. Since I work there, in the kitchen, I got to try a small sample of it the day we first made it. This one is also delicious, and we have bought two so far. Its bbq sauce on the pizza crust, then cheese and pulled pork that was smoked. This is another one that I could literally eat a whole pizza if I had a bigger appetite. It doesn't even taste like pizza, but rather a bbq pulled pork sandwich with a ton of cheese.
Soo, if you're ever at a Pizza Ranch or a HyVee and they have the pizzas mentioned, try them! they are sooo delicious!!
