E.L.F. Eye Primer and Simple Cleansing Wipes

So, I needed an eye primer..but really didn't want to spend a lot of money on one. I picked up the E.L.F. Eye Primer and Liner Sealer. I used the primer today, and it is great. I don't think my shadow budged, even through my washing dishes at work.

Also, I picked up a pack of the Simple Cleansing Wipes for makeup removal. I have used the exfoliating ones, which clean very well, as well as exfoliate the skin.. The regular ones are amazing too, I quickly wiped off my make up tonight while giving my son a bath, and I can get it all off in one wipe.

Also, my state taxes came in yesterday (woohoo three hundred some dollars). So I kept 100 of it in my checking, and put the rest in savings (for Chicago!). and I decided to go ahead and get my very first Urban Decay product..the Glinda Palette! I am so excited to get this, and I already plan on using it to create my wedding day look. I kind of want to purchase the Theodora one as well, but the Glinda one was my must have. ..hah, Urban Decay may become a VERY expensive hobby. I may just stick to buying their items during tax time, or if I can find some at wholesale stores like TJ Maxx (which we just got one in Ames this past weekend), or Gordmans for cheap I may get some there. The only reason I got this one at its regular 60 dollar price (including tax and shipping) was because I knew from the moment I saw it I wanted to use it for the wedding.

I plan on trying out the 'get the look' card, and doing a review when I get the product (even though I know there are already a lot of reviews out there for this)

Tomorrow should be Grazebox day, so expect a review of box 5 in the next couple of days :)

Wet n Wild: I dream of Greenie

I tried the Wet N Wild eyeshadow trio 'I Dream of Greenie', it is gorgeous, and will be great for St Patricks day.

Oh, and my State taxes came, so I am going to splurge and buy myself the Glinda Palette from Urban Decay, and I may buy a cheap brush set.

See It, Love It, Swatch It Urban Decay Oz Palettes giveaway

Okay, so first off, Urban Decay has two palettes inspired by the upcoming movie 'Oz the Great and Powerful' .. One of the palettes is for Theodora, the other for Glinda. I really want the Glinda palette (and maybe the Theodora one but I cannot justify paying over $50 for an eyeshadow palette..so I have been looking for giveaways for this. Upon my search, I found an Australian blog (See It, Love It, Swatch It) who is doing a giveaway of these palettes internationally (you get to choose one, so I'll choose the Glinda one if I win). One of the tasks to get more enteries to this contest was to write a blog post on the giveaway. So, this is my blogpost.

and a photo of the Palettes so you know how beautiful they are, especially the Glinda one!

The top set is the Glinda one, I love its light froufrouness, and would seriously use a couple of the shades as my wedding makeup look. The bottom is the Theodora..which I'm honestly not too sure about, but for the love of Oz, I would still love to have it.

Soo, wish me luck in winning this!
